| Ideas and tips for parking in the downtown: |
Parking fees are different
from district to district between 120 and 360 HUF/hour. If you have forgotten
to pay for the parking and the ticket-controllers
have left a blue or red pocket on the windshield, do not panic, just
give it to our colleagues at the end of the rental with the amount of
the penalty and they will care of the rest.
If you are unlucky, or you
left your car for a longer time without parking-ticket, they may put
a wheelcuff on it, and in this case the penalty could cost
many times the parking fee, so it is worth to pay attention for the parking
rules and fees.

| A few words about
the driving rules: |
Speedlimits:
In town: 50Km/h
Out of town: 90Km/h
Main roads: 110 Km/h
Motorways: 130Km/h
These speedlimits should not be exceeded because the
police-cars are likely to hide and take the expensive photos where you
expect them the
least.
Buslines: You should not use the buslines in the downtown because
the most of them are under camera-controll and strict penalties are to
pay
by those who use them permanently.
Unlike in some Canadian and US states
you are not allowed to turn right when the trafficlight is red!
